#1 manual sketch was scanned altered the color in PS
#2 opened in Painter 9, did the line drawing using 'align to path' (question for anybody familiar to Painter 9: i used pencil tools to draw the line aligned to the path, but why was the line 'bleeding' so i cud not get a crisp line? help me here guys )
#3 after done with the line drawing, i went to PS CS2 to render. done it alot using dodge n burn, ctrl+U thing, and brightness-contrast. here i did the shadows first.
#4 still in PS, giving the car body colors. still with ctrl+U and dodge-burn.
#5 work some details : logo, head lamps, etc.
#6 finishings : add backgrounds, and the most important in the rendering : SIGNATURE!!
#7 then submit them to Dev Art....meaning : publish it, is the next important thing
Thats pretty close to the same process I use for some of my vehicle renders. Except I trace the lines using Flash because vector lines are always crisp and really easy to manipulate in that program. Then I export as a high resolution image and bring that into photoshop for rendering. Looks good!
